Alarming number of crashes

The Western Region OPP are reminding the public to go over their winter driving tips.
Since the onset of the storm that hit the London area on Sunday, the OPP has responded to over 500 crashes in the area.
Police say the number of collisions is alarming and motorists need to slow down and pay attention to road and weather conditions.
“If there is a silver lining to any of this it’s that we have had no reported fatalities” said OPP Inspector Mark Wright.
Police attribute the collisions to speeding and following too closely.
