What a parade!

The Oktoberfest was a huge success as over 100,000 people lined the streets for the annual event.
And, the parade also provided a number of winners.
First and foremost, the Food Bank received 17,500 pounds in food donations plus over $13,000 in cash; that’s $3,000 more than last year.
As for the parade: the top float award went to a pirate ship entered by the Stag Shop.
Second place went to a float from Schneiders Foods while a City of Kitchener float placed third.
