Finance minister to speak in Waterloo ahead of summits

The federal finance minister will be in Waterloo in the run-up to the G8 and G20 summits.
Jim Flaherty will address a conference hosted by the Centre for International Governance Innovation.
The conference, which runs from May 3rd to the 5th, will evaluate options for the G20 on financial, economic and governance issues.
It will focus in part on the role of a financial stability board in reducing risk in the international financial system.
More than sixty leading international experts, government officials and diplomats from several countries will be in attendance, including former Liberal Prime Minister Paul Martin.
