Waterloo’s Brick Brewery earned four medals at this year’s Ontario Brewing Awards.
A company official says the medals suggest Brick has the best light and honey beer in the province.
Brick Brewery was awarded gold for best North American light lager for Laker Light.
Laker Honey won the gold medal and people’s choice in
the honey and maple category.
Waterloo Wheat received a silver medal in the
Belgian style wheat category.
There were more than 130 entries from 27 different brewers competing in 19 categories.
