Desire 2 Learn to re-locate to Lang Tannery

A local high tech company is making a short-distance move to a different corner in downtown Kitchener. Desire 2 Learn will re-locate from its offices at King and Water and set up shop in the renovated Lang Tannery at Charles and Victoria later this year.

CEO John Baker tells today’s Record the move will allow his company to collaborate with other technology tenants in the Lang building. The renovated factory will also be home to the $100-million Digital Media Convergence Centre, and Baker says he’s excited by the synergies that can result from being housed with other high tech businesses.

Desire 2 Learn has 150 employees and boasts five million clients worldwide. It will make the move later this year.
