Olympic Torch Protest in Kitchener

Not everyone will be welcoming the Olympic torch when it arrives in town on Sunday.
A group called A.W.O.L will hold a protest at the clock tower in Victoria park on the same day.
AWOL spokesperson Dan Keller tells 570’S Jeff Allan show the protest is going ahead because of native land rights.
Keller says Kitchener itself is on the Haldimand Track which is land of Six Nations.
Later the group plans on marching to Kitchener city hall for a public demonstration during the torch celebration.
