Police are hoping a security camera will help them find a suspect in an armed robbery.
It happened at a convenience store on Westheights Drive near Driftwood in Kitchener shortly before 3 o’clock this morning.
Police say the suspect pointed a handgun at the clerk and demanded money from the cash register.
The suspect is described as a heavy set white man, about five “6”.
He was wearing a black toque with a large white symbol on it and a baggy white T-shirt with a design on the front.
He was last seen entering the passenger side of an older model dark coloured vehicle in the parking lot.
